Bel Fullana (Mallorca, 1985) is known for paintings of imaginary female characters with strong, uncompromising attitudes. Her work combines brightly coloured oil and spray paint with childlike finishes. Fullana earned a degree in Fine Art from the University of Barcelona, and has exhibitions in Europe, London, Los Angeles, New York, South America and Asia.
Recent solo exhibitions include Tractor Buddy (Es Baluard Contemporary Art Museum, Palma de Mallorca 2024) PutiPandi (Freight+Volume, New York, 2022), Miau Planet (Galería Fran Reus, Palma de Mallorca, 2021) and Foxy Gangstas (Allouche Benias Gallery, Athens, 2020). Group exhibitions include curated projects like Prender la Mirada (Casal Solleric, Palma de Mallorca, 2024), MOTHERS. (Badr El Jundi Gallery, Madrid, 2023), Generación Agridulce. (Galería Mayoral, Fundación Carlos de Amberes, Madrid, 2022), Personae. Máscaras contra la barbarie (Es Baluard Contemporary Art Museum, Palma de Mallorca, 2021) and Sprezzatura. (Spazio Amanita, Palazzo Strozzino, Florence, 2021). She has participated in art fairs such as Kiaf Seoul, Arco Madrid, Untitled Miami, Zona Maco Mexico, Art Rotterdam, Sunday London and Ch.ACO Chile, as well as Enter Art Fair, Art Herning and Art Copenhagen in Denmark. She currently lives and works in Mallorca, represented by Fran Reus Gallery (Mallorca) and Freight+Volume (New York).
