Doug Argue
Following Doug Argue's presentation at Sydney Contemporary, PIERMARQ* is pleased to announce his upcoming exhibition 'There Is No Happiness Like Mine' opening 15 September.
Henrik Godsk
Following his sold out exhibition earlier this year, PIERMARQ* will present new works by Danish artist, Henrik Godsk.
Working primarily in oil on canvas, Godsk images are reminiscent of Russian avant-garde paintings and evoke the radiance and sensuality of Paul Klee’s colour schemes. Godsk’s work is informed by formalism, art history and folkloric art and culture.
Yvonne Robert
PIERMARQ* will present powerful new paintings by Swiss abstract painter Yvonne Robert.
Formalist in nature, Robert's work inspires the viewer to reflect inwardly into the experience of the painting itself, with bold colours and compositions provoking an emotional response.
In the meantime the gallery will stay open and exhibit a groupshow by Adam Lester, Cosimo Casoni, Yvonne Robert, Michael Swaney and Doug Argue.
