PIERMARQ* is pleased to present new work by Galina Munroe at ZonaMaco Contemporary Art Fair from 8 - 12 February.
Munroe's loose, abstract method of layering rustic, textured collage with oil paint means that her works only come to fruition towards the very end, similar to the life-cycle of her subject matter of fruits and flora. In this way, the passage of time is prevalent, in both process and motif, invoking connotations of life, death and what we see and experience in between.
Founded in 2002, ZonaMaco has become the largest Art Fair in Latin America and is regarded as one of the leading global fairs with a strong connectivity to collectors from both the Americas and Europe.
